LFT convention re-elects President Steve Monaghan

Executive vice  president, secretary-treasurer and 21 vice-presidents inaugurated

Louisiana Federation of Teachers President Steve Monaghan was elected to his third term of office at the Federation’s 44th annual convention, held November 23-25 in Covington. Delegates representing the 20,000 LFT members across the state also elected Jefferson Federation of Teachers President Joe Potts as executive vice president. JFT Secretary-Treasurer Meladie Munch was re-elected as secretary-treasurer of the LFT. Delegates also chose 21 vice presidents to complete the Federation’s executive board.
