LFT convention elects Executive Board

LFT President Steve Monaghan was elected to his fourth term as leader of the state’s largest teacher and school employee union during the Federation’s 47th annual convention in Bossier City on November 21.

Monaghan was unanimously elected, along with Executive Vice President Joe Potts and Secretary-Treasurer Meladie Munch, both from the Jefferson Federation of Teachers, and 22 vice presidents representing local LFT chapters from around the state.
